Overview: March 30 - April 5, 2026
LIBRA FULL MOON: The lunar cycle that began with a Pisces New Moon on March 18 reaches its culmination point this week. The Full Moon perfects at 7:11 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, April 1, when the Moon is at 12°21' Libra, opposite the Sun at the same degree of Aries.
We commonly think of airy, mental Libra as being refined, cooperative, and objective; however, this lunation is more emotionally charged than we might expect, due to the two luminaries being square Jupiter in protective Cancer (15°51'). This places Jupiter at the apex point of a cardinal T-square, increasing a tendency to be overconfident, to go to unhealthy extremes, or to lack good judgment. Some may be highly impatient and impulsive, headstrong, defensive, or aggressive under this influence.
Cries for justice, equal treatment, and higher ethical standards may ring loudly this week; Libra rules the law, equality, and the courts, while Jupiter represents lawyers, judges, and ethics. This week's Full Moon also highlights the next phase of the Great Unraveling, since the Sun will be only seven degrees away from Saturn and thus will activate the ongoing effects of the Saturn-Neptune alignment.
Revelations are always possible under the gaze of a Full Moon, which lights up the dark night sky and exposes what has been obscured by the shadows. This potential is especially strong this week: Venus, the planetary ruler of Libra and thus ruler of the Full Moon, is exactly square suspicious Pluto on Friday, increasing an awareness of hidden agendas along with a determination to know the truth.
APRIL HEAT: While the Sun is always in fiery Aries for the first three weeks of April, we generally think of the month as having mostly mild weather. But in April 2026, planetary activity will be providing us with much higher temperatures than we might expect—if not literally, at least figuratively.
The aspects that are occurring mid-month all point to this increased heat: Mars enters Aries on April 9, conjoins Neptune on the 12th, and conjoins Saturn on the 19th. Adding its fuel to the fires of controversy, the Aries Sun activates the Chiron-Eris conjunction on April 15-16. Jumping on board the volcanic express, Mercury enters the sign of the Ram on April 14, meets with Neptune on the 16th, and conjoins both Mars and Saturn on the 19th.
I will of course write more about these aspects in upcoming issues of this Journal, but I wanted to give you a heads-up in case you're figuring out your schedule for the next few weeks—especially if you're making travel plans since the planet Mercury is highly involved in the mix.

Monday
Venus enters Taurus: As Venus travels through Taurus (March 30 to April 24), we tend to value loyalty and stability in our relationships and could be drawn to partners and friends who exhibit those qualities. Venus in Taurus appreciates the arts, can be very generous, and enjoys tangible expressions of love. The shadow potentials of this transit include too much focus on appearances, becoming attached to material objects, or being possessive of loved ones.

Wednesday
Full Moon: The Full Moon perfects at 7:11 p.m. PDT tonight, when the Moon is at 12°21' Libra and the Sun is at the same degree of Aries.
Thursday
No major aspects are exact today.
Friday
Mercury trine Jupiter: We are confident in sharing our thoughts and communications flow easily, especially those that are heart-centered. We prefer to ponder higher meanings and the larger perspective and thus may not pay much attention to details.
Sun semisquare Uranus: Unexpected events or sudden changes require flexibility.
Venus square Pluto: We may feel quite passionate about something we love under this influence. Jealousies or resentments could arise for some. A need to control or possess can lead to manipulations and coercion.
Jupiter semisquare Sedna: Deceptions and betrayals may be very apparent at this time, challenging our belief systems or causing a crisis of faith for some. Deep traumas come to the surface to be processed, healed, and released.
Saturday

Sunday
Sun semisquare Sedna, Sun square Jupiter: People could be feeling very vulnerable at this time, and tend to overreact or respond defensively.
